PlanB has always been a passion project, a place built around people, not profit. We’ve never charged for in-game perks, ranks, or rewards. No pay-to-win, no hidden shop, no cash-for-diamonds nonsense.

Even so, like all good things, running servers takes resources. And thanks to the purely voluntary generosity of our community, we’ve been able to cover those costs while staying true to our values and we’ve been able to keep PlanB running, growing, and evolving since 2016.

💻 Behind the Scenes: What Donations Support

Over the years, we tried the usual shared hosting options, and they just didn’t cut it. Too slow, too fragile, too limiting or too expensive.

So instead, we made the leap and leased our own dedicated server from a professional data center. This means we control the entire machine and can spin up as many servers, game modes, or experiments as we need to serve the communities needs.

💸 What Your Donations Are Spent On

Every donation goes directly into keeping PlanB alive, healthy, and growing. Here’s what your support helps cover:

Just to be crystal clear, here’s what your support doesn’t go toward:

• ❌ Personal profit or staff payments. The admin team actually cover >90% of the donations.
• ❌ Anything outside of PlanB infrastructure or community-related costs
• ❌ Bribing Mojang (we tried)
