In the year of 2016, a period untouched by the likes of Discord, TikTok, and Covid, a motley crew of fervent players discovered their shared sanctuary: LoveCraft. This fresh Minecraft server, humbly advertised on minecraft-forum.net, was but a nascent digital landscape ready to be explored. Aided by the spirit of camaraderie and mutual passion, a canvas of extraordinary structures began to arise, as tangible as the friendships that were taking root.

Then, like a thunderbolt out of clear skies, calamity struck. The server buckled, flickered, and then fell silent. When it sputtered back to life, a stark realization dawned upon us: our world, a labour of love and friendship, was wiped clean. No remnants of the once-thriving LoveCraft remained. The server owner, much like the world we had built together, vanished into the digital ether.

Subsequently, our beacon of connection, the LoveCraft Skype group, was also extinguished. In these trying times, it was our unity that prevailed. A number of us had already formed bonds strong enough to withstand the upheaval, and thus, a lifeline emerged. We found a safe harbour in our PlanB group, our virtual command centre, where we strategized our next steps amidst the chaos.

And so, as the first flowers of May blossomed in the physical world, our virtual phoenix rose from the ashes. On the 3rd of May, 2016, PlanB - Season 1 breathed its first breath of existence. A magnificent spawn town was born at the crossroads of the Desert Plains, symbolizing our resilience, camaraderie, and undying love for the game.
